A small idea that developed into a monster film viewed by over 35 million people, For The Players Since ‘95 was written and conceived for the launch of the PlayStation for Drum PHD. Playing on the nostalgia gamers share for (life) times spent on memorable titles, the film unfolds over the four ‘eras’ placing the cast in a time capsule relating to each version of the PlayStation console. The film explores the culture that surrounds gaming and the place it holds in the hearts of millions, weaving in a myriad of visual references to specific periods of time, through art-direction, styling and VFX.
